95 Earn More

  1.  Get educated.  You are certainly on your way to doing that.  But, don’t let it stop with your time at this College.  Be a life-long learner.  Think about your Bachelor’s degree, a certification, or even a MOOC course or even reading a book.  No matter what you are doing, there is some way to learn more and improve yourself.
  2. More income streams.  Be on the lookout for opps for earning money from different places.  Maybe you are a great writer and can see a short story.  Maybe you have a piece of land you can lease.  Having more income streams gives you an insurance policy that if you lose one of them, like your job, you have a back-up plan and it also means you have more income in your life.
  3. Start a side business.  Instead of playing video games (OK, a little isn’t too bad), invest part of that time in staring a side business.  You can start a blog with a few ads in it.  Maybe  you are good with woodworking and can build bird feeders or make deck furniture.  There are a lot of possibilities out there that can supplement your current income and perhaps eventually grow into your main income.
  4. Move toward your passion.  Go toward the things that really excite you.  Whatever really excites you and makes you want to do more and more and better and better, that is what you need to move towards at all times.
  5. Don’t burn bridges.  You will find you will run into people later in life that you had contact with earlier in life.  Even if you feel wronged in a situation, or want to spread negative gossip, don’t.
  6. Keep in touch.  When you do build a bridge with someone, don’t let it get old or worn out.  Spend the time to keep in touch with that person.  Shoot them an email or a phone call every once in a while to see what they are up to.
